Haiti leaders plan church expansion using the JESUS film
The Gospel has been shared across Haiti over the past year through JESUS Film Harvest Partners, and the local leaders plan to use the current momentum to continue expanding their reach.
The Church of the Nazarene has 63 church planters from Haiti’s 12 Nazarene districts, and they plan to organize at least 63 brand new churches, missions, and preaching points over the next year.
“The situations the church is enduring this year is surely not preventing them from doing what Christ ordered His followers to do — go and make disciples,” said Pierre Ernest Jacques, Haiti evangelism coordinator.
Many Haiti church planters are living amid difficult political unrest, yet they continue to bring the Gospel to the toughest parts of the country.
Ernest plans to visit every district in the country twice before the end of 2019 to motivate and encourage the church planters to accomplish their church planting goal.
“Our prayer is that the good news that we are preaching brings hope and changes in Haiti, and we’re grateful for the supports of the regional JESUS Film staff for providing means that are needed to keep this ministry going,” Ernest said.
