Collaborative Ministries

WYSIWYG Content

There are many ministries that work in coordination with the Church of the Nazarene in some way. Collaborative Ministries have taken a step further and shown ongoing commitment to reinforcing and extending the work of the Church of the Nazarene through their own unique ministries and emphases. We praise the Lord for their work in His Kingdom!

These ministries strive to work within Global Missions’ strategy and guidelines, maintain accountability and transparency, and uphold the same values as the Church of the Nazarene.

Description

Encuentro Missions is an intergenerational, Nazarene family-run missions organization that empowers and equips students and families to bring the transformational message of Jesus both at home and abroad through service projects, and more immersed in the culture of different communities. Since 1966, we have facilitated trips in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Peru, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. Over 250,000 students have participated, resulting in more than 2 million children and adults hearing the Gospel message through Encuentro events.

While these ministries work in collaboration with the Church of the Nazarene and Global Missions, their finances and operations function independently from the Church of the Nazarene. World Evangelism Giving 10% giving credit is awarded only when the collaborative ministry is supporting projects approved through Global Missions and when funds are given through the Global Ministry Center.
