God called Moses to do an important job—lead the children of Israel through the wilderness into the Promised Land. But God also came alongside Moses by providing him with personal instruction and the resources he needed. Because Moses was discipled by God, he was able to carry on God’s mission and disciple others.
As with God’s discipling of Moses, the proper discipling of children’s leaders and workers is essential to the fulfillment of God’s mission for all children, everywhere. By providing the right resources and training for ministry leaders, we are helping them lead children lost in a wilderness of hopelessness to the promised land of a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Will you help?
You can help by joining us in giving to this year’s global KRK offering. Through your giving, KRK will provide the disciplers of children with the needed resources to fulfill God’s mission in their church and communities.
The Kids Reaching Kids Mission Offering Project is the annual children’s mission offering emphasis.
The money from this offering funds varied projects, including a major focus each year.
Bitan*, a 10-year-old boy in Bangladesh, dreamed of being a police officer when he grew up.
That dream seemed impossible due to his family’s poverty, but Bitan has new hope for his future thanks to Nazarene children around the world who gave to the Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries’ Kids Reaching Kids Mission Offering Project.
Chumi* is among 19 children in Bangladesh to receive medical treatment funded in part by the Kids Reaching Kids missions offerings.
Before the treatment, she was unable to move her right arm properly after she accidentally burned her arm in a mud oven when she was seven years old.
Nearly 2,000 children across the Commonwealth of Independent States Field attended 33 VBS events thanks to funds from Kids Reaching Kids, the Church of the Nazarene’s VBS program.
Each year, children who attend a VBS are invited to participate in an offering that provides funds for children in need around the world.
