The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 25-29 January 2021.

Thomas Nees passed away 24 January 2021. Nees served the Church of the Nazarene in many capacities, including as director of the USA/Canada Mission/Evangelism Office and as Nazarene Compassionate Ministries director for the USA and Canada.

Sandra López, 47, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away from complications due to COVID-19 on 20 January 2021. She was the wife of Benjamín López, superintendent of the Southwest Latin American District. Sandra was born 12 April 1974 in Mexico City, Mexico, to José Emiliano Pérez Juárez and Adela

When COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions caused many North American churches to re-evaluate their ministries, Jodi Getson and Mike Wheeler began exploring the concept of entirely online operations.

The Board of General Superintendents elected Stan Reeder to the position of USA/Canada regional director. Reeder succeeds Robert Broadbooks, who is retiring after 12 years as regional director.
