The tricolor flag of Guinea Conakry features the Pan-African colors, symbolizing the unity of the African nations. Red symbolizes the blood spilt by the martyrs in the fight for independence. Yellow stands for the abundance of mineral resources, especially gold in the nation, and the bright sun that shines over the land. Green represents the vegetation, forests, and other natural resources in addition to the prosperity and the fertile soils of the nation.

Flags of the Nations: Guinea Conakry

Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.
