The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 9-13 July 2018.

Jean Hyatt, 84, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away 2 July in a car accident. She served for more than 60 years alongside her husband, Shirell Hyatt, at Cullman First Church of the Nazarene as church board members, treasurers, nursery workers, NYI leaders, and more.

Shirell Hyatt, 90, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away 2 July in a car accident. He served for more than 60 years alongside his wife, Jean Hyatt, at Cullman First Church of the Nazarene as church board members, treasurers, nursery workers, NYI leaders, and more.

Elwanda Knox, 88, of Bakersfield, California, passed away 6 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister and missionary Wayne Knox, who served in California and Oregon. Wayne Knox passed away in 2007.

Harold Potter, 91, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away 4 July. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in Michigan and Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Potter, in 2008.

Floyd Styers Sr., 91, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away 10 July. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in South Carolina, Texas, and Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorris Styers, in 2015.

Hallie Wachtel, 91, of Smithville, Tennessee, passed away 11 July. She was a retired missionary, serving in Israel. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister and missionary Alexander Wachtel, who served in Philadelphia and Oklahoma. Alexander Wachtel passed away in 1999.

Mary Wallace, 94, of London, Ontario, passed away 8 July. She was a retired missionary, serving in Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile.
