With the participation of more than 100 young people, the national Nazarene Youth International camp was held for young people in February on the outskirts of the city of Juan E. Estigarribia in Paraguay. 

The name of the camp was "I will run to you." Attendees joined in an atmosphere of fellowship, skits and dramatizations, games, awards, and worship, reflecting on running to God's call, emphasizing the importance of our being called to salvation, service, missions, compassion, and holiness.

The first day of camp featured a national night event, where participants wore something traditional from their country. The event was to recognize and acknowledge the invaluable service of local leaders in their respective churches.

The theme for the following night was "Biblical Figures," where the youth dressed up as the biblical figures they admired most, sharing their story, their calling, and the most significant event related to them.

One of the participants, Hugo Ayala, said the camp was an unforgettable experience. 

“I can't find enough words to express everything I felt and experienced during those three days at camp,” Ayala said. “What I do know is that I learned a lot. The teachings were excellent. It was impressive to see how God used so many people and touched their hearts, including mine.”

Fabricio Meza said that one of the workshops really caught his attention. 

“It touched me personally and made me think of all the times they asked me for help, and I didn't know how to show the love God gives us, which strengthens me so much,” Meza said. “But from that moment on, I committed to honoring God's love in my life by helping people in need.”

This camp was a very blessed time, and undoubtedly, God revealed himself to each participant through messages, praises, and workshops.

The Church of the Nazarene in Paraguay prays that God continues to prepare and bless the young people who have accepted the call.
