MaryLou Riggle, 85, of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on 5 November 2023. She was a retired missionary serving 38 years in Belize, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.

A total of 54 children attended a Children's Missionary Orientation Camp in Mexico to learn about missions through the first-hand experiences of a missionary.

James Whited, 75, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away 9 September 2023. He was a retired missionary who served in Eswatini from 1977-1993.

Eunice Brubaker, 68, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on 5 September 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Mona White, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on 25 July 2023. She was a missionary who served in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands from 1959-1995.

Nearly 400 missionaries gathered before the 30th General Assembly and Conventions in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, at nearby Butler University for revitalization and encouragement. The 5-8 June gathering was the largest gathering of Nazarene missionaries in the last 40 years.

Elton Wood, 97, of Riverside, Rhode Island, passed away on 22 June 2023. He was a retired minister, evangelist, and missionary who served in Cabo Verde and Brazil for 40 years.

Love Your Neighbor, a short-term missions project hosted in conjunction with the 30th General Assembly and Conventions, took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, and 16 additional countries with over 1,500 participants.

Every year, hundreds of people are trained in missions in the Mesoamerican Region through the Missionary Orientation Camps (COM) of the Church of the Nazarene. In 2023, that was no different for the Caribbean Field, where 25 people participated virtually in a COM.
