In Memoriam: 25 July 2019

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 22-26 July 2019.

Delores Green, 88, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, passed away 17 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister O. Gerald Green, who served in Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, and Tennessee. O. Gerald Green passed away in 1982.

Marjorie Jantz-Owens, 91, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away 18 July. She was a retired evangelist, serving in Kansas, Indianapolis, and Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Verdean Owens, who served in Indianapolis and Ohio. Verdean Owens passed away in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, retired evangelist Calvin Jantz, who served in Kansas and Ohio. Calvin Jantz passed away in 1988. 

Beulah (Weaver) Taylor, 91, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away 24 July. She was the wife of retired minister Robert Taylor, who served in Ohio.

Mary Jo VanDyne, 84, of Gig Harbor, Washington, passed away 17 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Glen VanDyne, who served in California, Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Kansas, and Arkansas. Glen VanDyne passed away in 2013.
