In Memoriam: September 9, 2016

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received September 5-9, 2016.

John Bullock, 88, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away September 6. He was a retired minister, serving in California, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Esther Bullock. 

Ronald Cleveland, 77, of Bradenton, Florida, passed September 1. He was a retired minister, serving in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Judith Cleveland. 

Lou Ann (Harris) Ellis, 70, of Stewart, Tennessee, passed away September 5. She was the wife of minister Charles Ellis, who serves at Erin, Tennessee, Church of the Nazarene. 

Lila (Bick) Fosbenner, 86, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away September 2. She was the widow of minister Gerald Fosbenner, who passed away in 1972. 

Zelma Granger, 92, of Avon, Indiana, passed away August 25. She was the widow of retired minister Richard Dickson, who served in Colorado, Idaho, and Indiana. Richard Dickson passed away in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Donald Granger. 

Ed Heck, 62, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, passed away September 6. He was the senior pastor of Kankakee First Church of the Nazarene and an adjunct professor at Olivet Nazarene University. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Heck. (story)
