O Distrito de Guyana Berbice realizou seu dia anual de Esportes Familiares e Divers\u00e3o de Distrito 1 de julho em uma praia local.<\/p>\n

Este evento \u00e9 hospedado pelo distrito para trazer as igrejas juntas para divers\u00e3o, irmandade e minist\u00e9rio para crian\u00e7as, juventude e adultos. Tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 uma oportunidade para jovens l\u00edderes praticarem seus dons e talentos em planejamento, administra\u00e7\u00e3o e alcance de minist\u00e9rio.<\/p>\n

Era uma grande reuni\u00e3o de membros Nazarenos, fam\u00edlias e amigos”, disse Rachel Subick, representante de m\u00eddia de distrito.<\/p>\n

As atividades do dia come\u00e7aram com um curto devocional por Rebecka Bentinck, um dos ministros licenciados mais jovens no distrito. Depois do devocional, os participantes competiram em uma s\u00e9rie de atividades repletas de a\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Nazarenos de todas as idades participaram de corridas e jogos de pista e campo. Medalhas foram concedidas a atletas e pr\u00eamios especiais foram dados a todas as crian\u00e7as que participaram. <\/p>\n

O evento mais divertido do dia era quando os pastores e seus c\u00f4njuges correram”, disse Subick. Era grande divers\u00e3o testemunhar nossos l\u00edderes competindo para a medalha de ouro.<\/p>\n

O destaque do dia foi o batismo de cinco pessoas que declararam recentemente sua f\u00e9 em Jesus Cristo. <\/p>\n

Louvamos a Deus para esses indiv\u00edduos como eles continuam a servir a Deus”, disse Subick.<\/p>\n

V\u00e1rias igrejas tamb\u00e9m usaram o evento para arrecadar fundos para v\u00e1rios minist\u00e9rios. A equipe de distrito da Juventude Nazarena Internacional<\/a> vendeu peixes e chips para arrecadar fundos para o pr\u00f3ximo acampamento da juventude, a equipe de Escola Dominical e Minist\u00e9rios de Discipleship<\/a> vendeu brinquedos para arrecadar fundos para acampamento infantil, e outras igrejas locais tinham barracas de comida. <\/p>\n

O distrito agradeceu aos coordenadores de evento Luann Nero e Booker Williamson e a equipe de juventude que tamb\u00e9m ajudaram a organizar e planejar o evento.<\/p>\n
