Peter Alfred Robinson, ex-pastor e pioneiro da Igreja do Nazareno na Austr\u00e1lia, faleceu  19 de  Agosto com a idade de 91.<\/p>\n

Robinson ajudou a ser pioneiro a Igreja do Nazareno na Austr\u00e1lia, tendo re cebido santifica\u00e7\u00e3o inteira enquanto serviu como um policial j\u00fanior durante um reavivamento realizado na Adelaide (mais tarde Croydon Park) do Nazareno em 1950. Peter era um de seis leigos transformados neste reavivamento que mais tarde se tornaram pastores na Igreja do Nazareno. <\/p>\n

Em 1954, Peter e sua esposa, Enid, se realocaram para Sydney  para se inscrever no Col\u00e9gio B\u00edblico Nazareno (agora Col\u00e9gio Teol\u00f3gico Nazareno<\/a>). Depois de v\u00e1rios meses de estudo, o Superintendente de Distrito da Austr\u00e1lia A.A.E. Berg convidou Peter para ser pioneiro a Igreja do Nazareno  em Mackay, quase 700 quil\u00f4metros (430 milhas) da Igreja mais pr\u00f3xima do Nazareno. Depois de um ano, os Robinsons retornaram a Sydney, onde Peter se tornou o pastor da Igreja Birrong do Na zareno e continuou seus estudos na NBC.<\/p>\n

Os Robinsons mais tarde aceitaram um chamado para pastor a Igreja Stafford do Nazareno nos sub\u00farbios do norte de Brisbane e pouco depois foi ordenado um \u00e9lder na Igreja do Nazareno em 1959.<\/p>\n

No final de 1963, os Robinsons retornaram a Adelaide, onde Peter se tornou o pastor de sua igreja natal em Croydon Park. Depois da cria\u00e7\u00e3o do Distrito Sul da Austr\u00e1lia em fevereiro de 1977, Peter serviu como membro do Conselho Consultivo de Distrito inicial e como secret\u00e1rio de distrito de 1983 a 1992.  Heem tamb\u00e9m serviu por tr\u00eas anos como membro do Col\u00e9gio Teol\u00f3gico Nazareno.<\/p>\n

Enquanto pastor a igreja Birrong pela segunda vez de 1980 a 1985, Peter era respons\u00e1vel por uma extensa expans\u00e3o, renova\u00e7\u00e3o e embelezamento do edif\u00edcio da igreja. Depois de um pastorado na Igreja Ingle Farm em Adelaide, Peter se aposentou do minist\u00e9rio em 1992.<\/p>\n

Em 16 de mar\u00e7o de 2008, os Robinsons foram apresentados com um Pr\u00eamio de Servi\u00e7o Distinto pela igreja Capalaba em reconhecimento de mais de 60 anos de servi\u00e7o leal a Cristo atrav\u00e9s da Igreja do Nazareno na Austr\u00e1lia. Apesar de preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es de sa\u00fade, incluindo um ataque card\u00edaco em 2014, ele pregou todas as oportunidades dadas  e participou de igreja regularmente em Adelaide.<\/p>\n

Peter sobreviveu por sua esposa de 69 anos, Enid; filho mais velho Bret e sua esposa, Moira; e filho mais jovem, Lindsay e seus dois filhos.<\/p>\n

Uma celebra\u00e7\u00e3o da vida ser\u00e1 realizada em 2:30 p.m. na segunda-feira,  27 de agosto, em Harrison Funerals, localizado em 173 Port Road, Queenstown, Austr\u00e1lia do Sul.<\/p>\n
