No lado leste de Glasgow, Esc\u00f3cia, aninhado entre um restaurante indiano para levar e uma pequena loja de conveni\u00eancia, \u00e9 uma linha de janelas fechadas. Acima s\u00e3o as palavras  “A CARTA”, com um sinal “Para Venda” que corta a palavra “BAR”. A pintura \u00e9 de mau gosto, as paredes foram marcadas com graffiti mais de uma vez, e meia milha de dist\u00e2ncia, Parkhead do Nazaren<\/a> o s\u00e3o os novos propriet\u00e1rios.<\/p>\n

Sob a lideran\u00e7a de Pastor Ian Wills, a congrega\u00e7\u00e3o Parkhead fez seu objetivo investir continuamente em sua comunidade. Com esta nova propriedade, eles esperam respirar um novo esp\u00edrito em uma \u00e1rea de sua cidade muito em necessidade.<\/p>\n

O bar, que foi fechado em 2014, tinha uma reputa\u00e7\u00e3o para atrair uma multid\u00e3o \u00e1spera. Agora, como a igreja se move para renovar, eles est\u00e3o esperando oferecer oportunidades positivas em um lugar onde uma comunidade real pode se formar.<\/p>\n

O processo come\u00e7ou em 2016 como a congrega\u00e7\u00e3o cresceu para os limites de seu espa\u00e7o atual. Durante este tempo, eles come\u00e7aram a considerar plantio de igrejas. Ent\u00e3o, quando o bar antigo foi colocado para venda, o tempo parecia correto.<\/p>\n

O Charter Bar “marcou um par de caixas”, disse Pastor John Craig, parte da equipe trabalhando para reprover o bar. Em primeiro lugar, \u00e9 local o suficiente para ser outro espa\u00e7o que alguns grupos na Igreja Parkhead Nazarena poderiam usar. E, al\u00e9m de ajudar a facilitar restri\u00e7\u00f5es de espa\u00e7o, o bar est\u00e1 longe o suficiente da igreja Parkhead para ser capaz de “explorar oportunidades missionais para esse local espec\u00edfico”.<\/p>\n

A igreja n\u00e3o tinha os fundos para comprar a propriedade, mas eles garantiram um empr\u00e9stimo e avan\u00e7aram na f\u00e9 que este novo posto avan\u00e7ado em sua comunidade seria apoiado. Eles realizaram arrecadadores de fundos em Parkhead, bem como buscaram concess\u00f5es e at\u00e9 criaram uma p\u00e1gina de doa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> on-line.<\/p>\n

Adquirir o novo edif\u00edcio, que eles esperam abrir este ver\u00e3o, n\u00e3o tem sido inteiramente sem costura. Levou algum esfor\u00e7o para eles at\u00e9 descobrir quem exatamente estava vendendo o edif\u00edcio. E ent\u00e3o havia o departamento de planejamento da cidade. Projetos como este n\u00e3o se encaixam nas caixas tradicionais para uma cidade – n\u00e3o \u00e9 um caf\u00e9, n\u00e3o \u00e9 um bar, mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 exatamente uma “igreja” tamb\u00e9m. Eventualmente, eles foram capazes de fazer o caso que seu uso do edif\u00edcio seria classificado  como um “lugar de adora\u00e7\u00e3o”.<\/p>\n

A Igreja do Nazareno em Parkhead tamb\u00e9m coloca um alto valor em parcerias, e seu novo esfor\u00e7o n\u00e3o \u00e9 diferente.<\/p>\n

A Carta se encontra quase exatamente equidistante entre Parkhead Nazareno e outra igreja evang\u00e9lica, ou seja, Igreja da Comunidade Easterhill, com quem h\u00e1 links hist\u00f3ricos e atuais e sobreposi\u00e7\u00f5es em amizade e minist\u00e9rio”, disse Craig.<\/p>\n

A congrega\u00e7\u00e3o Easterhill est\u00e1 animada para a oportunidade de fazer uso do novo espa\u00e7o centrado na comunidade que a Igreja Parkhead do Nazareno \u00e9 pioneira.<\/p>\n

Como para um novo nome para colocar no edif\u00edcio, eles n\u00e3o se estabeleceram em nada ainda.<\/p>\n

A Carta” (que significa “Decreto Real”) parece ser o padr\u00e3o que est\u00e1 preso nas mentes das pessoas”, disse Craig, embora ele aponte que discuss\u00f5es sobre renomear o edif\u00edcio est\u00e3o em andamento.<\/p>\n
