Nem todos os dias os sonhos de alguns membros de grupo de juventude da igreja se transformam em um filme, mas Richie Johns de 18 anos realizou apenas isso com o apoio da Comunidade Rush do Nazareno. RUTH: UMA JOURNEY<\/a> <\/em>  FIEL lan\u00e7amentos em DVD e streaming na web 18 de agosto.<\/p>\n

O drama de 92 minutos  \u00e9 uma renarra\u00e7\u00e3o de dia moderno do livro de Ruth. \u00c9 o primeiro filme produzido pela igreja e foi escrito e dirigido por Johns. <\/p>\n

Ruth<\/em>thou  estreou em  abril com 12 exibi\u00e7\u00f5es em Nova Filad\u00e9lfia, Cinema Quaker de Ohio.<\/p>\n

Filmado na zona rural de Ohio, a ideia para o projeto veio durante uma viagem de igreja quando o grupo decidiu que seria divertido fazer um filme crist\u00e3o modernizado. Johns e seus eventuais produtores associados, Samuel e Gabriel Brewer, pensaram em hist\u00f3rias b\u00edblicas em potencial que poderiam ser feitas em uma adapta\u00e7\u00e3o moderna.<\/p>\n

H\u00e1 tantas hist\u00f3rias para serem contadas, mas eu decidi que eu gostaria de tentar a hist\u00f3ria de Ruth por causa de suas li\u00e7\u00f5es em f\u00e9”, disse Johns  <\/p>\n

Johns come\u00e7ou a escrever o roteiro em 2015, filmagem come\u00e7ou no ver\u00e3o de 2016, e produ\u00e7\u00e3o embrulhada nesta primavera passada.<\/p>\n

Na hist\u00f3ria atualizada, Ruth se move para a casa anterior de sua sogra Naomi em Bethlehem, Pensilv\u00e2nia. Enquanto  procurava alguma forma de renda, Ruth trumbles upon B&B Manufacturing, de propriedade e operado por Boaz. <\/p>\n

Johns lan\u00e7ou sua irm\u00e3, Hannah Johns, no papel de t\u00edtulo, junto com amigos Carrie Rooks como Naomi e Kyle Henry como Boaz.<\/p>\n

Richie e seus produtores associados fizeram uso de recursos steadicam e drone dispon\u00edveis atrav\u00e9s de Claymont High School, onde  Richie se formou em maio.<\/p>\n

Quando \u00e9ramos crian\u00e7as pequenas, costum\u00e1vamos fazer todos os tipos de v\u00eddeos”, disse Johns . “Eventualmente me juntei a meu professor Chad Shoemaker em fazer um filme de fic\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica de comprimento completo. Era uma atividade depois da escola, e eu gostei tanto que eu larguei basquete no ano seguinte.<\/p>\n

Empresas locais apoiaram o projeto tornando seus locais dispon\u00edveis e fornecendo apoio em esp\u00e9cie. Financiamento de projeto veio de doa\u00e7\u00f5es privadas e de  neg\u00f3cios, bem como um pequeno or\u00e7amento da igreja. <\/p>\n

Servir minha igreja continua sendo o prop\u00f3sito que me leva para frente”, disse Johns.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m do filme, Johns criou um curr\u00edculo e guia de discuss\u00e3o de pequeno grupo usando clipes do filme para  uso em estudos b\u00edblicos ou aulas de escola dominical. Churches em cinco estados j\u00e1 solicitaram para hospedar triagens.<\/p>\n

Johns participar\u00e1 da Universidade Mount Vernon Nazarene em Mount Vernon, Ohio, neste outono, com especializa\u00e7\u00e3o em estudos interculturais e jornalismo \/ produ\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00eddia.<\/p>\n
