Duarte, David W. Graves, David A. Busic e Gustavo A. Crocker para servir para o pr\u00f3ximo quadrenio.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Aceitou o voto para superintendentes gerais tomado s\u00e1bado em caucuses regionais como Ballot No. 1 para eleger dois novos superintendentes gerais para se juntar aos titulares do exerc\u00edcio.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Na primeira vota\u00e7\u00e3o, os principais votadores eram Carla Sunberg, 176 votos; Filimao Chambo, 167 votos; &nbsp;Christian Sarmiento, &nbsp;87 votos; Scott Daniels, 57 votos; Bob Broadbooks, 54 votos e Carlos Saenz, 52 votos.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Honrou o servi\u00e7o do Superintendente Geral Jerry D. Porter e lhe concedeu o t\u00edtulo de superintendente geral em\u00e9rito<em>.<\/em> Porter serviu no escrit\u00f3rio de superintendente geral por 20 anos. Ele foi eleito em 1997 na Assembleia Geral em San Antonio, Texas, EUA. Eleg\u00edvel para servir um quinto mandato, Porter escolheu se afastar do Conselho de Superintendentes Gerais e se concentrar em outros minist\u00e9rios.&nbsp;Um filho do campo de miss\u00e3o Nazareno, ele tamb\u00e9m serviu sua igreja nos pap\u00e9is de pastor, mission\u00e1rio, diretor regional e superintendente de distrito. SR-750)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Honrou o servi\u00e7o de J. K. Warrick e lhe concedeu o t\u00edtulo de superintendente geral em\u00e9rito ap\u00f3s sua aposentadoria do BGS.&nbsp;Warrick foi eleito para o escrit\u00f3rio de superintendente geral pela Assembleia Geral de 2005 em Indianapolis, Indiana, EUA, e serviu nessa capacidade por 12 anos.&nbsp;Anteriormente, ele era um pastor no sudoeste dos EUA, Indianapolis, e posteriormente de Igreja Col\u00e9gio do Nazareno em Olathe, Kansas, EUA. SR-751)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Votou para suspender as regras e tomar um voto direto para cima ou para baixo sobre legisla\u00e7\u00e3o que foi processada pelo comit\u00ea de estudo teol\u00f3gico que se reuniu durante o quadri\u00eanio passado.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Modificado o Artigo de F\u00e9 12, &#8220;Batismo&#8221;. A nova linguagem enfatiza que o batismo n\u00e3o significa apenas &#8220;aceita\u00e7\u00e3o dos benef\u00edcios da expia\u00e7\u00e3o&#8221;, mas tamb\u00e9m inclui &#8220;incorpora\u00e7\u00e3o no Corpo de Cristo&#8221;. O novo idioma sublinha que o batismo \u00e9 um meio de gra\u00e7a.&nbsp;Aprovado por um show de m\u00e3os.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Artigo Modificado de F\u00e9 13, &#8220;A Ceia do Senhor&#8221;.&nbsp;A nova linguagem inclui a declara\u00e7\u00e3o que &#8220;A Ceia do Senhor \u00e9 um meio de gra\u00e7a no qual Cristo est\u00e1 presente pelo Esp\u00edrito&#8221;.&nbsp;Tamb\u00e9m afirma que &#8220;aqueles que t\u00eam f\u00e9 em Cristo e amam os santos s\u00e3o convidados por Cristo para participar com a maior frequ\u00eancia poss\u00edvel&#8221;.&nbsp;JUD-802)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Mudan\u00e7as aceitas para Artigo de F\u00e9 7, &#8220;Prevenient Gra\u00e7a&#8221;. (JUD-810).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Mudan\u00e7as aceitas para Artigo de F\u00e9 8, &#8220;Arrependimento&#8221;, que enfatizam que \u00e9 &#8220;uma mudan\u00e7a sincera e completa da mente em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao pecado&#8221; e &#8220;\u00e9 exigida de todos os que por ato ou prop\u00f3sito se tornaram pecadores contra Deus&#8221;.
