Ela tinha 87 anos de idade.<\/p>\n<p>Rose nasceu em Greenwood, Delaware para seus pais, William e Bessie. Depois de se formar no Col\u00e9gio Nazareno Oriental em 1954, ela aceitou o chamado para ser um mission\u00e1rio e come\u00e7ou a servir na \u00c1frica do Sul em 1962.<\/p>\n<p>Durante seu tempo na \u00c1frica do Sul, ela serviu como escritora de curr\u00edculo e editora na \u00c1frica por 15 anos. Ela era a editora do <em>Trans African<\/em>, autora de um livro de leitura j\u00fanior intitulado <em>Boetie Gets Rich<\/em>. Ela se aposentou depois de 30 anos de servi\u00e7o na \u00c1frica do Sul em 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Quando ela retornou aos Estados Unidos, ela se tornou um membro de Milford, Deleware, Igreja do Nazareno, onde ela serviu em seu conselho consultivo de distrito.<\/p>\n<p>Ela sobreviveu por seus sobrinhos, duas sobrinhas e suas fam\u00edlias.
