Harold B. Graves Sr., 92, de Georgetown, Texas, faleceu 9 de setembro de 2020. Ele era um superintendente de distrito aposentado e ministro. Ele \u00e9 o pai do atual Superintendente Geral David Graves e Presidente do Col\u00e9gio B\u00edblico Nazareno Harold Graves Jr.<\/p>\n

Harold B. Graves nasceu 12 de outubro de 1927 em Nashville, Tennessee. Mais tarde em sua inf\u00e2ncia, sua fam\u00edlia se mudou para Franklin, Tennessee, onde ele se formou no ensino m\u00e9dio. Ele se casou com Bettie Eby em 1949 e come\u00e7ou a participar de Trevecca Nazarene College (agora Universidade).<\/p>\n

Ele recebeu um grau de bacharel em minist\u00e9rio de Trevecca em 1952, e em 1981 ele recebeu seu Doutorado em Divindade de Mount Vernon Nazarene College (agora Universidade).<\/p>\n

Ele come\u00e7ou seu minist\u00e9rio como um estudante de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, pastor Waverly Primeira Igreja do Nazareno de 1951-1952. Ele serviu como um evangelista em Tennessee at\u00e9 1953, quando ele retornou ao pastorado na Gallatin Primeira Igreja do Nazareno (1953-1956). Ele tamb\u00e9m serviu na Velha Hickory do Nazareno (1956-1963) e Clarksville Primeira Igreja do Nazareno (1963-1968) antes de se mudar para Indiana para o pastor Gary Glen Park do Nazareno (1968-1973). Em 1973, ele se tornou pastor na Igreja Cincinnati Springdale do Nazareno, onde ele serviu at\u00e9 1975, quando ele recebeu o chamado para se tornar o superintendente do Distrito de San Antonio. <\/p>\n
