O Conselho de Diretores da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Nazarena elegeu por unanimidade Mark E. Lail como seu pr\u00f3ximo presidente. Lail tomar\u00e1 o cargo em 2 de mar\u00e7o de 2022. Ele sucede ao presidente interino Kenneth Roney.<\/p>\n

A elei\u00e7\u00e3o vem depois de uma pesquisa nacional pelo Conselho da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Nazarena, que come\u00e7ou em abril do ano passado.<\/p>\n

Presidente do Comit\u00ea de Busca Juiz Charles A. Davis Jr. observou que Lail tem extenso conhecimento de presentes de legado complexos e se conecta bem com uma variedade de doadores.<\/p>\n

Ele traz para a presid\u00eancia da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o 22 anos como pastor l\u00edder; servi\u00e7o como tesoureiro de distrito; 10 anos como diretor de Minist\u00e9rios de Stewardship; e nove anos em sua posi\u00e7\u00e3o atual como vice-presidente executivo da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o. Nosso novo presidente tamb\u00e9m demonstrou um compromisso com a miss\u00e3o e valores da Igreja do Nazareno.<\/p>\n

Lail compartilhou alguns de seus planos para o futuro do minist\u00e9rio.<\/p>\n

Sou honrado a Igreja do Nazareno expressou confian\u00e7a em mim para liderar a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o”, disse Lail. Em sua curta hist\u00f3ria de 18 anos, a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Nazarena distribuiu mais de US $ 100 milh\u00f5es para minist\u00e9rios. Espero construir no sucesso de meus predecessores fazendo relacionamentos de doador uma prioridade principal. O futuro da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o inclui maior colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com igrejas locais, distritos e minist\u00e9rios no Centro de Minist\u00e9rio Global.<\/p>\n

Lail possui um Bacharel em Artes da Universidade Mount Vernon Nazarene, um Mestrado em Divindade do Semin\u00e1rio Teol\u00f3gico Nazareno, e um Doutor de Minist\u00e9rio do Semin\u00e1rio Teol\u00f3gico Fuller.<\/p>\n

O Conselho de Superintendentes Gerais afirma a sele\u00e7\u00e3o do Dr. Mark Lail como o novo presidente da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Nazarena”, disse Carla Sunberg, presidente do Conselho de Superintendentes Gerais. Dr. Lail \u00e9 um grande homem de igreja e tem um registro de servi\u00e7o fiel atrav\u00e9s de minist\u00e9rio financeiro em e atrav\u00e9s da igreja.
