Nazarenos em todo o mundo s\u00e3o convidados a se juntar a Amar Seu Vizinho, um projeto de servi\u00e7o ocorrendo em Indianapolis, Indiana, 9-14 de junho de 2023, em conjunto com a 30\u00aa<\/sup> Assembleia Geral. Registro come\u00e7a em julho de 2022. <\/p>\n

O projeto Love Your Neighbor far\u00e1 parceria com equipes locais na \u00e1rea de Indianapolis durante tr\u00eas dias de trabalho. As equipes ser\u00e3o uma extens\u00e3o dessas igrejas, de acordo com o Coordenador Global de Trabalho e Testemunho Stephen Sickel. Membros da equipe ajudar\u00e3o a hospedar eventos de evangelismo locais, preparando comida para distribui\u00e7\u00e3o para a comunidade, limpando os bairros vizinhos e participando de constru\u00e7\u00e3o leve.<\/p>\n

Estamos em parceria com o Distrito de Indianapolis e as igrejas locais para que o que quer que investimos na cidade est\u00e1 conectado ao trabalho em andamento”, disse Sickel. Durante a Assembleia Geral, quando temos muita reflex\u00e3o para dentro, precisamos nos lembrar sobre a reflex\u00e3o para fora. <\/p>\n

O nome do evento \u00e9 um lembrete de Mateus 22:37-40, onde Jesus diz a seus disc\u00edpulos para “Amar o Senhor seu Deus com todo seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o e com toda sua alma e com toda sua mente”. Nessa passagem, Jesus os lembra que o segundo mandamento mais importante “… \u00e9 como [o primeiro]: ‘Ame seu pr\u00f3ximo como voc\u00ea mesmo'”.<\/p>\n

Como Nazarenos, sabemos que a vida santa \u00e9 uma vida de a\u00e7\u00e3o”, disse a Superintendente Geral Carla Sunberg. A vida santa tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 algo que fazemos juntos em comunidade. \u00c9 por isso que nos reunimos como uma fam\u00edlia global para servir as pessoas nos bairros de Indianapolis durante Assembleia Geral.<\/p>\n

Aqueles que n\u00e3o s\u00e3o capazes de participar do evento em Indianapolis s\u00e3o incentivados a organizar um evento Ame Seu Vizinho em sua comunidade. Recursos estar\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis para l\u00edderes locais para configurar um evento em suas igrejas ou distrito, e equipes que participam de projetos locais s\u00e3o incentivadas a participar das sess\u00f5es de adora\u00e7\u00e3o da Assembleia Geral via livestream.<\/p>\n
