Roberto Hodgson, 64, de Olathe, Kansas, faleceu 3 de fevereiro de 2025 depois de uma batalha com c\u00e2ncer pancre\u00e1tico. Ele serviu como ministro e superintendente de distrito antes de se tornar diretor de Minist\u00e9rios Multiculturais para a Regi\u00e3o EUA \/ Canad\u00e1 do Nazareno.<\/p>\n

Mesmo em sua \u00faltima semana, ele continuou incansavelmente seu minist\u00e9rio”, disse o Diretor Regional EUA \/ Canad\u00e1 Stan Reeder. Apenas a eternidade revelar\u00e1 quantos milhares de almas em todo o Canad\u00e1, os EUA e em todo o mundo entraram no Reino atrav\u00e9s de seu compromisso implac\u00e1vel com minist\u00e9rio multicultural. Posso ouvir a voz de nosso Senhor soando em eternidade: ‘Bem feito, servo bom e fiel … venha e compartilhe a felicidade de seu Mestre’. Nossas ora\u00e7\u00f5es est\u00e3o com Carol, Andrea e Emily em sua grande perda.<\/p>\n

Hodgson nasceu em 10 de mar\u00e7o de 1960 em Man\u00e1gua, Nicar\u00e1gua. Hodgson imigrou para os Estados Unidos em 1979. Ele respondeu ao chamado de Deus para minist\u00e9rio em sua vida indo para a Costa Rica e estudando no Semin\u00e1rio Nazareno de las Am\u00e9ricas<\/em>. Ele ganhou um grau de bacharel em teologia e, durante seu tempo, ajudou a estabelecer a Igreja do Nazareno em San Pedro de Poas, Costa Rica.<\/p>\n

Ele ganhou um grau de mestrado do Semin\u00e1rio Teol\u00f3gico Wesley em 1992, e um grau de Doutor em Minist\u00e9rio da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Teol\u00f3gica de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em 2002. <\/p>\n

Como ministro, ele serviu na Igreja Mosaica de Washington do Nazareno e College Park Fountain de Gra\u00e7a do Nazareno em Maryland. Ele ent\u00e3o serviu na Igreja Laurel Hosanna do Nazareno de 1996 a 1997 antes de trabalhar com o Distrito Meio-Atl\u00e2ntico at\u00e9 2007. <\/p>\n

Em junho de 2007, ele foi eleito superintendente do Distrito Latino-Americano Sudoeste. Cinco anos depois, ele se tornou o diretor de Minist\u00e9rios Multiculturais para a Regi\u00e3o EUA \/ Canad\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Ele sobreviveu por sua esposa, Carol Hodgson; filhas, Andrea Welch e Kelly Miller; e cinco netos.<\/p>\n

Um servi\u00e7o de Celebra\u00e7\u00e3o de Vida ser\u00e1 realizado na quinta-feira, 13 de  fevereiro de 2025, em 12 p.m. na Igreja Central do Nazareno em Lenexa, Kansas.
