Mark and Jazz met at Philippine Nazarene College (formerly Luzon Nazarene Bible College) where they received their bachelors degree in theology. Mark and Jazz studied at Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila where they both completed a Master of Divinity in 1999.  Mark further completed a Masters in Systematic Theology from Torch Trinity Graduate University in South Korea in 2005.

Mark, an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene (2004), has served the Lord over the last 25 years as pastor for several churches, professor, college president, field education coordinator, and Superintendent of the Southern Tagalog District, Philippines.

Jazz has filled a number of significant administrative positions including college registrar, liaison officer and instructor.  For the last 10 years, she has served as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator for the Philippines and Micronesia Field.

Mark and Jazz first sensed God calling them to cross-cultural ministry 27 years ago.  At the time, they thought they would first serve as missionaries, then perhaps teach at a Bible college in their retirement.  But it seems it was God’s plan to reverse the order.  Having come from the education sector, with their two children both out of the home, they believe God is leading them to serve as missionaries on the Southeast Asia field where Mark will fill the critical role of Chancellor of Chapman International College.  Jazz’ field administrative capabilities will be put to good use in ministries in the SEA field office.

The Eugenios have two children: Josiah (22) who graduates from his university in May with an IT degree, and Maeve (18) who is in her freshman year of a pre-med program at Point Loma Nazarene University.
