Ceux qui sont \u00ab dans le Christ \u00bb sont de nouvelles cr\u00e9ations (2 Corinthiens 5:17). Dans cette communaut\u00e9 r\u00e9demptrice, aucun \u00eatre humain ne doit \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme inf\u00e9rieur sur la base de son statut social, de sa race ou du sexe (Galates 3:26-28). Reconnaissant le paradoxe apparent cr\u00e9\u00e9 par les instructions de Paul \u00e0 Timoth\u00e9e (1 Timoth\u00e9e 2 : 11-12) et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9glise de Corinthe (1 Corinthiens 14 : 33-34), nous croyons qu&rsquo;interpr\u00e9ter ces passages comme limitant le r\u00f4le des femmes dans le minist\u00e8re pr\u00e9sente de graves conflits avec des passages sp\u00e9cifiques des \u00c9critures qui recommandent la participation des femmes \u00e0 des r\u00f4les de leadership spirituel (Jo\u00ebl 2 : 28-29 ; Actes 2 : 17-18 ; 21 : 8-9 ; Romains 16 : 1, 3, 7 ; Philippiens 4 : 2-3) et viole l&rsquo;esprit et la pratique de la tradition de la saintet\u00e9 wesleyenne. Enfin, il est incompatible avec le caract\u00e8re de Dieu pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans toute l&rsquo;\u00c9criture, en particulier tel qu&rsquo;il est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 en la personne de
