Le Coll\u00e8ge nazar\u00e9en oriental a commission\u00e9 Dan Boone en tant que pr\u00e9sident-\u00e9lu du coll\u00e8ge vendredi dans une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie \u00e0 l’\u00c9glise de Wollaston du Nazar\u00e9en. Le service 10 a.m. a lanc\u00e9 les festivit\u00e9s de week-end de Homecoming du coll\u00e8ge.<\/p>\n

Nous venons \u00e0 l’autel et nous soulevons \u00e0 vous Dan et Denise Boone \u00bb, a pri\u00e9 Daniel Copp, commissaire \u00e9ducatif de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en. Dieu, dans ces moments, vous lieriez le Coll\u00e8ge nazar\u00e9en oriental et les Boones ensemble comme seul vous pouvez le faire, appeler et alliance exprim\u00e9e dans cette relation. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

Le service sp\u00e9cial \u00e9tait centr\u00e9 sur la commission de Boone alors qu’il continue son travail en tant que pr\u00e9sident-\u00e9lu d’Eastern. Il ne sera pas formellement nomm\u00e9 le 14e  pr\u00e9sident du coll\u00e8ge jusqu’\u00e0 ce que les exigences d’accr\u00e9ditation sp\u00e9cifiques soient satisfaites.<\/p>\n

Pendant le service de mise en service, Larry Bollinger, vice-pr\u00e9sident de l’avancement institutionnel \u00e0 Eastern, a encourag\u00e9 Boone en ce qui concerne les d\u00e9fis \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n

Les d\u00e9fis changeants de l’enseignement sup\u00e9rieur ne sont pas pour les faibles du c\u0153ur \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Bollinger. L’un des nombreux \u00e9v\u00e9nements pr\u00e9vus pour la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de retour \u00e0 la maison d’Eastern, le service de mise en service pr\u00e9c\u00e8de \u00e9galement la r\u00e9union d’automne du Conseil des administrateurs du coll\u00e8ge. Boone, les administrateurs de l’Est et les leaders cl\u00e9s de campus sont attendus \u00e0 faire rapport sur l’\u00e9tat du coll\u00e8ge et \u00e0 d\u00e9tailler les prochaines \u00e9tapes sp\u00e9cifiques pour l’avenir et le partenariat d’Eastern avec Trevecca in Nashville, Tennessee, o\u00f9 Boone sert \u00e9galement de pr\u00e9sident.<\/p>\n

Dans les jours pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant le service de mise en service, Boone a dit qu’il marquerait un moment sp\u00e9cial dans sa carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Je suis humble et b\u00e9ni par cette opportunit\u00e9 de servir oriental \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Boone. Ceci est un endroit sp\u00e9cial et ce service a renforc\u00e9 une fois de plus l’importance de ce que nous faisons dans l’\u00e9ducation chr\u00e9tienne. Pendant 117 ans, Eastern a fourni une \u00e9ducation chr\u00e9tienne de qualit\u00e9 dans le Nord-Est et je suis honor\u00e9 de faire partie d’une aide qui continue pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

Au cours des derni\u00e8res semaines, Eastern a rapport\u00e9 un certain nombre d’annonces importantes. Le mois dernier, le coll\u00e8ge a annonc\u00e9 des taux de scolarit\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieurs<\/a> qui s’alignent sur les taux de Trevecca. Le d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 rendre un programme d’\u00e9change de semestre entre Oriental et Trevecca, annonc\u00e9 plus t\u00f4t cette semaine<\/a>, possible.<\/p>\n
