Le S\u00e9minaire th\u00e9ologique nazar\u00e9en a r\u00e9cemment  attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 Carla Sunberg avec le Prix Towel et Basin \u00e0 son d\u00eener annuel de retour \u00e0 la maison le 26 septembre. Le d\u00eener de retour \u00e0 la maison fournit une opportunit\u00e9 annuelle pour les anciens et les amis de se reconnecter et de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer ce que Dieu fait par le minist\u00e8re de NTS.<\/p>\n

Pendant la pr\u00e9sentation de la soir\u00e9e, le doyen de la Facult\u00e9 Josh Sweeden a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 Sunberg avec le prix. <\/p>\n

NTS r\u00e9serve ce prix aux anciens et aux amis du s\u00e9minaire qui mod\u00e9lisent dans notre communaut\u00e9 les caract\u00e9ristiques m\u00eames du Christ – telles que vues dans l’Hymne du Christ (Philippiens 2 : 5-11)  et dans l’\u00c9vangile de Jean, lorsque J\u00e9sus lave les pieds des disciples \u00bb, a-t-il dit. D’une perspective chr\u00e9tienne, la serviette et le bassin refl\u00e8tent notre th\u00e9ologie du leadership. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sweeden a partag\u00e9 des commentaires  sur le leadership de serviteur de Sunberg pendant son temps en tant que pr\u00e9sidente NTS, qui a dur\u00e9 de 2014 jusqu’\u00e0 son \u00e9lection en tant que surintendant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral<\/a> cet \u00e9t\u00e9. Il a particuli\u00e8rement mis en \u00e9vidence son approche pastorale, son \u00e9thique de travail forte et son engagement \u00e0 faire NTS un lieu pour tous les \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>\n

Elle \u00e9tait une championne pour les \u00e9tudiants sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s \u00bb, a-t-il dit. Elle a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 pointer NTS sur une trajectoire pour servir une \u00c9glise multi-culturelle et multiethnique. Sa d\u00e9fense des femmes dans le minist\u00e8re \u00e9tait implacable et \u00e0 juste titre. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jeren Rowell, pr\u00e9sident du Conseil des administrateurs NTS, a \u00e9galement offert des commentaires de f\u00e9licitations. <\/p>\n

Le Conseil des administrateurs f\u00e9licite le Dr Sunberg de recevoir le Prix Towel et Basin de cette ann\u00e9e \u00bb, a-t-il dit. Le th\u00e8me de ce prix image parfaitement le genre de leadership que le Dr Sunberg a apport\u00e9 \u00e0 NTS pendant son mandat. L’avenir de notre s\u00e9minaire est brillant et nous remercions le Dr Sunberg de nous diriger vers cet avenir rempli d’espoir. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n
