Le directeur r\u00e9gional de l’Afrique Filimao Chambo a partag\u00e9 la lettre suivante la semaine derni\u00e8re, appelant un temps de pri\u00e8re et de je\u00fbne.<\/p>\n

Le Bureau r\u00e9gional de l’Afrique sera ferm\u00e9 pour le travail le mercredi 22 octobre et au lieu de cela, nous nous r\u00e9unirons pour une journ\u00e9e  de pri\u00e8re et de je\u00fbne pour interc\u00e9der pour ceux qui souffrent \u00e0 cause des trag\u00e9dies entourant le virus Ebola. Nos c\u0153urs  sont bris\u00e9s alors que nous entendons les rapports de coll\u00e8gues Nazar\u00e9ens, de coll\u00e8gues chr\u00e9tiens et de coll\u00e8gues \u00eatres humains souff rant dans plusieurs pays mais en particulier en Sierra Leone, en Guin\u00e9e et au Lib\u00e9ria. Le virus Ebola a \u00e9t\u00e9 mortel \u00e0 la plupart de ceux  qui le contractent qui a produit une sill\u00e9e de peur et de souffrance.<\/p>\n

La dynamique de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 chang\u00e9e dans les pays faisant face \u00e0 Ebola et l’\u00e9tendue de ses ramifications sont toujours \u00e0  \u00eatre. La peur entourant le virus a caus\u00e9 de l’incertitude et de la panique. Afin de minimiser le risque d’\u00eatre infect\u00e9 et  en raison de l’\u00e9tat submerg\u00e9 des services m\u00e9dicaux, beaucoup de ceux qui ont besoin de soins de sant\u00e9 normaux sont n\u00e9glig\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Pourtant, au milieu de la peur, il y a ceux qui r\u00e9pondent en d\u00e9pit des cons\u00e9quences possiblement mortelles. Ils r\u00e9pond ent de compassion et du c\u0153ur qui illustre le Christ. L’un de ces couples, Le r\u00e9v\u00e9rend Joe et Hannah Sonkpah<\/a>, ont pris soin de la femme  apprentie \u00e0 laquelle le syst\u00e8me m\u00e9dical n’\u00e9tait pas disponible. Leurs actes de compassion ont r\u00e9sult\u00e9 en \u00eatre infect\u00e9 par Ebola.  Ils ont pay\u00e9 avec leur vie afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ce que Dieu a mis sur leur c\u0153ur. Ils sont nos h\u00e9ros.<\/p>\n

Alors que nous au bureau r\u00e9gional et vous pouvez \u00eatre \u00e0 des milliers de kilom\u00e8tres de ceux qui souffrent, nous voulons interc\u00e9der au Seigneur en leur nom. Bien que la distance soit loin, nous savons que le m\u00eame Dieu qui  entend nos pri\u00e8res marche parmi ceux qui souffrent d’une infection ou de la perte de famille et d’amis. C’est Lui qui peut finalement r\u00e9c onforter et sauver. Que le Seigneur laisse les sacrifices faits au nom de ceux qui souffrent lui apporter de la gloire  et des yeux sans espoir \u00e0 lui.<\/p>\n

Ce temps de pri\u00e8re au bureau est un pr\u00e9curseur \u00e0 une demande de NCM Afrique pour la pri\u00e8re, le je\u00fbne et le soutien \u00e0 \u00eatre donn\u00e9 par  chaque \u00c9glise nazar\u00e9enne africaine entre le 26 octobre et le 23 novembre 2014.<\/p>\n

Veuillez se joindre au Bureau r\u00e9gional de l’Afrique dans la pri\u00e8re et le je\u00fbne le mercredi 22 octobre. Ensuite, rejoignez-vous, alors que vous \u00eates capable, avec  les \u00c9glises locales en Afrique, entre le 26 octobre et le 23 novembre, pour prier, je\u00fbner et donner<\/a>.<\/p>\n
