Une \u00e9quipe de Travail et t\u00e9moin du district de Joplin a r\u00e9cemment voyag\u00e9 dans le comt\u00e9 de  Fremont, Iowa, pour aider au nettoyage apr\u00e8s les inondations plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e. L’ \u00e9quipe a travaill\u00e9 sur plusieurs maisons, minist\u00e9rant \u00e0 la fois aux propri\u00e9taires de maison et aux enfants dans les communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

L’inondation a commenc\u00e9 en mars lorsque la rivi\u00e8re Missouri a viol\u00e9 ses digues apr\u00e8s une pluie forte. Maintenant, plus de  cinq mois plus tard, de nombreuses familles viennent de revenir \u00e0 leurs maisons et les trouvent couverts de moisissure de l’eau stagnante. Les meubles, les appareils et les autres possessions doivent \u00eatre jet\u00e9s \u00e0 cause du moule. Bien que la plupart des structures soient sonores, le mur sec, l’isolation et le sol ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ruin\u00e9s par l’eau et la moisissure. <\/p>\n

Les emplois de l’ \u00e9quipe W & W variaient du d\u00e9saffectation de maisons  \u00e0 l’accueil d’un carnaval pour les enfants du quartier et \u00e0 la pri\u00e8re pour les victimes des inondations. <\/p>\n

Cette partie de l’Iowa a toujours des maisons et des familles qui ont besoin de beaucoup d’aide et de pri\u00e8res \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Faithe Haeck, un membre de l’\u00e9quipe. Alors que les routes s’ouvrent et les familles sont capables de revenir dans leurs maisons, la quantit\u00e9 de travail \u00e0 \u00eatre faite continue de cro\u00eetre. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

L’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en continuera \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre alors que les communaut\u00e9s r\u00e9cup\u00e8rent.<\/p>\n
