Il \u00e9tait un ministre retrait\u00e9 et surintendant de district.<\/p>\n<p>Cox est n\u00e9 le 15 f\u00e9vrier 1935, \u00e0 Herbert et Rose Ethelene Walker. Il a assist\u00e9 au Coll\u00e8ge nazar\u00e9en Trevecca (maintenant Universit\u00e9) o\u00f9 il a rencontr\u00e9 sa femme, Wyoma, obtenant son dipl\u00f4me en 1958. Cette chute-l\u00e0, il a pris en charge en tant que pasteur principal de l&rsquo;\u00c9glise Franklin du Nazar\u00e9en au Tennessee. Il irait \u00e0 servir les \u00c9glises en Indiana, au Kansas et au Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>En 1975, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu surintendant du district de l&rsquo;Arkansas nord, o\u00f9 il a dirig\u00e9 pendant 10 ans. En 1986, il a accept\u00e9 l&rsquo;appel pour devenir surintendant de district dans son \u00c9tat de r\u00e9sidence du Tennessee, o\u00f9 il a dirig\u00e9 le district du Tennessee est jusqu&rsquo;en juillet 2008.
