Newell Smith a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 surintendant de district int\u00e9rimaire pour le district de New York du nord. Surintendant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Carla Sunberg a fait la nomination en consultation avec le Conseil consultatif de district de l’\u00c9tat de New York du nord, le directeur r\u00e9gional \u00c9tats-Unis \/ Canada Bob Broadbooks et le Conseil des surintendants g\u00e9n\u00e9raux. <\/p>\n

Smith a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9mission de Kevin Dunlop, qui est efficace le 31 mai 2020. Smith assumera sa nouvelle position le 1 juin 2020 et servira jusqu’\u00e0 30 jours apr\u00e8s l’assembl\u00e9e de district d’avril 2021, au cours de laquelle un nouveau surintendant de district sera \u00e9lu.<\/p>\n

Smith a assist\u00e9 au Coll\u00e8ge nazar\u00e9en oriental o\u00f9 il a gagn\u00e9 un baccalaur\u00e9at en arts en litt\u00e9rature anglaise et un mineur en \u00e9ducation secondaire. Il a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 gagner une ma\u00eetrise en divinit\u00e9 du S\u00e9minaire th\u00e9ologique Asbury avec un accent en le conseil. Smith est un pr\u00e9sident de Front Step, un Centre de minist\u00e8re nazar\u00e9en de compassion au centre-ville de Philadelphie.<\/p>\n
