Harold B. Graves Sr., 92, de Georgetown, Texas, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 le 9 septembre 2020. Il \u00e9tait un surintendant de district retrait\u00e9 et ministre. Il est le p\u00e8re du surintendant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral actuel David Graves et du pr\u00e9sident du Coll\u00e8ge biblique nazar\u00e9en Harold Graves Jr.<\/p>\n

Harold B. Graves est n\u00e9 le 12 octobre 1927 \u00e0 Nashville, Tennessee. Plus tard dans son enfance, sa famille a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Franklin, Tennessee, o\u00f9 il a obtenu son dipl\u00f4me de l’\u00e9cole secondaire. Il a \u00e9pous\u00e9 Bettie Eby en 1949 et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 assister au Coll\u00e8ge nazar\u00e9en Trevecca (maintenant Universit\u00e9).<\/p>\n

Il a re\u00e7u un baccalaur\u00e9at en minist\u00e8re de Trevecca en 1952 et en 1981, il a re\u00e7u son doctorat en divinit\u00e9 du Coll\u00e8ge Mount Vernon nazar\u00e9en (maintenant Universit\u00e9).<\/p>\n

Il a commenc\u00e9 son minist\u00e8re en tant qu’\u00e9tudiant de premier cycle, pastant Waverly Premi\u00e8re \u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en de 1951-1952. Il a servi d’\u00e9vang\u00e9liste au Tennessee jusqu’en 1953, date \u00e0 laquelle il est revenu au pastorat \u00e0 Gallatin Premi\u00e8re \u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en (1953-1956). Il a \u00e9galement servi \u00e0 l’ancienne \u00c9glise Hickory du Nazar\u00e9en (1956-1963) et de Clarksville Premi\u00e8re \u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en (1963-1968) avant de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager \u00e0 Indiana au pasteur de l’\u00c9glise Gary Glen Park du Nazar\u00e9en (1968-1973). En 1973, il est devenu pasteur \u00e0 l’\u00c9glise de Cincinnati Springdale du Nazar\u00e9en, o\u00f9 il a servi jusqu’en 1975, date \u00e0 laquelle il a re\u00e7u l’appel pour devenir le surintendant de district de San Antonio. <\/p>\n

Il a dirig\u00e9 le district de San Antonio jusqu’en 1980, date \u00e0 laquelle il est devenu surintendant du district sud-ouest de l’Ohio. Il a dirig\u00e9 le district de l’Ohio sud-ouest pendant 20 ans jusqu’\u00e0 sa retraite en 2000. <\/p>\n
