Je  suis reconnaissant pour l’opportunit\u00e9 de servir le district central de Chicago dans ce nouveau r\u00f4le \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9  Whalen. Nous aimons nos pasteurs et nos \u00c9glises et sommes excit\u00e9s de faire partenariat avec eux dans ce prochain chapitre du minist\u00e8re. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

Whalen remplacera Larry McKain, qui a servi de surintendant depuis 2014.<\/p>\n

Un ancien de l’Universit\u00e9 nazar\u00e9enne Olivet, Whalen a servi de ministre \u00e0 Indiana et en Illinois. Whalen a obtenu son dipl\u00f4me avec un baccalaur\u00e9at en musique de l’\u00c9glise en 2004 et a re\u00e7u une ma\u00eetrise du minist\u00e8re d’Olivet en 2015. Il poursuit actuellement un docteur du minist\u00e8re du S\u00e9minaire th\u00e9ologique nazar\u00e9en, avec un accent sur le disciple et la formation spirituelle.<\/p>\n

Scott a d’abord servi de ministre \u00e0 l’\u00c9glise de Highland du Nazar\u00e9en en Indiana avant de servir Sterling, Illinois, Premi\u00e8re \u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en de 2006 \u00e0 2016. Apr\u00e8s une br\u00e8ve p\u00e9riode de service \u00e0 Peoria Premi\u00e8re \u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en, il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 servir de secr\u00e9taire de district et surintendant de district assistant pour le district central de Chicago en 2017.<\/p>\n
