Pendant la 30e Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et les conventions de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en, six r\u00e9solutions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9es reconnaissant divers endroits en tant que points de rep\u00e8re historiques conform\u00e9ment au<\/em> Manuel paragraphe 913. Cet article est le deuxi\u00e8me dans une s\u00e9rie soulignant l’importance de ces six nouveaux points de rep\u00e8re historiques de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en.<\/em><\/p>\n

L’Instituto Biblico Nazareno (Institut biblique nazar\u00e9en), la premi\u00e8re institution d’\u00e9ducation th\u00e9ologique pour l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en dans la r\u00e9gion de M\u00e9so-Am\u00e9rique, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9 comme point de rep\u00e8re historique de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en apr\u00e8s l’adoption de la r\u00e9solution sp\u00e9ciale 754 \u00e0 la 30e Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et aux conventions.<\/p>\n

Le site est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Cob\u00e1n, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. Le district du Guatemala Verapaz nord a parrain\u00e9 la r\u00e9solution.<\/p>\n

L’institution a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 1921. \u00c0 l’origine, il \u00e9tait un site d’extension du Coll\u00e8ge Pasadena (maintenant Universit\u00e9 Point Loma nazar\u00e9enne). Eugenia Phillips, un dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 du Coll\u00e8ge Pasadena, \u00e9tait le missionnaire principalement responsable d’\u00e9tablir l’\u00e9cole. <\/p>\n

Depuis sa fondation il y a plus d’un si\u00e8cle, l’institution est all\u00e9e par divers noms, y compris Coll\u00e8ge biblique nazar\u00e9en (1921-1944), Institut biblique nazar\u00e9en Williamson (1950-1968), Institut biblique nazar\u00e9en autochtone Kekchi-Pokam (1976-1982) et Institut \/ Association biblique nazar\u00e9en (1944-1950 ; 1969-1976 ; 1982-2023). Les changements de nom ont \u00e9t\u00e9 en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 son statut \u00e9ducatif et \u00e0 sa mission pour former des pasteurs et des leaders pour chaque g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n

En mai dernier, l’Instituto Biblico Nazareno a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 100 ans d’op\u00e9ration<\/a>. En 2023, l’institution a compt\u00e9 une inscription de 508 \u00e9tudiants. Bien que IBN serve principalement les \u00e9tudiants dans les sept districts de la r\u00e9gion nord du Guatemala, il a \u00e9galement accueilli des \u00e9tudiants de nombreuses nations d’Am\u00e9rique centrale. Les sept districts sont la maison de 429 congr\u00e9gations de l’\u00c9glise et 154 missions assist\u00e9es par plus de 60 000 membres.<\/p>\n

Le Bureau r\u00e9gional de M\u00e9so-Am\u00e9rique, le Bureau r\u00e9gional de l’\u00e9ducation th\u00e9ologique et les diff\u00e9rentes institutions th\u00e9ologiques s\u0153urs en M\u00e9so-Am\u00e9rique se joignent pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer et f\u00e9liciter IBN d’arriver \u00e0 cent ans de service \u00e0 l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en au Guatemala \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jorge Ba\u00f1os, coordonnateur r\u00e9gional de l’\u00e9ducation. Dieu b\u00e9nit le pr\u00e9sent et l’avenir de cette institution glorieuse, son directeur, Gregorio Maas Ico, son \u00e9quipe de travailleurs, conseil, personnel enseignant et corps \u00e9tudiant. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n
