Christian Sarmiento a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu le 45e surintendant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en le 15 juin 2023. Sarmiento a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu sur le 40e bulletin de vote pendant la session d’affaires matinale de la 30e Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et des conventions \u00e0 Indianapolis, Indiana, \u00c9tats-Unis. Il sert actuellement de directeur de la r\u00e9gion d’Am\u00e9rique du Sud.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s son \u00e9lection, Sarmiento a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli par le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Gary Hartke avant de prendre la sc\u00e8ne pour embrasser le Conseil des surintendants g\u00e9n\u00e9raux. Il a pris le podium et a salu\u00e9 l’assembl\u00e9e avec un \u00ab Buenos dias ! \u00bb cordial<\/p>\n

Il est \u00e9crasant \u00bb, Sarmiento a commenc\u00e9. C’est un voyage de gr\u00e2ce que Dieu nous a pris. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sarmiento a dit de devenir un chr\u00e9tien \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 17 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa femme de 47 ans, Margit. Apr\u00e8s avoir lu Jean le chapitre 3 verset 8, o\u00f9 J\u00e9sus dit que le Saint-Esprit est comme le vent, il a fait sa pri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

J’ai vu un papier sur le sol et j’ai dit : \u00ab Seigneur, soufflez comme vous voulez. Nous serons juste un papier et nous sommes \u00e0 votre volont\u00e9 \u00bb Sarmiento a dit.<\/p>\n

Christian a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu directeur de la r\u00e9gion d’Am\u00e9rique du Sud en septembre 2005. Avant son \u00e9lection, il a servi de directeur r\u00e9gional du Mexique, de l’Am\u00e9rique centrale et de la r\u00e9gion des Cara\u00efbes (maintenant connue sous le nom de r\u00e9gion de M\u00e9so-Am\u00e9rique). Sarmiento a une exp\u00e9rience \u00e9ducative \u00e9tendue, ayant servi de coordonnateur r\u00e9gional de l’\u00e9ducation dans trois r\u00e9gions de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en. Il \u00e9tait \u00e9galement le recteur des s\u00e9minaires nazar\u00e9ens en Bolivie, en \u00c9quateur et en Argentine. <\/p>\n

En plus de servir d’\u00e9ducateur, Christian a \u00e9t\u00e9 un planteur de l’\u00c9glise dans trois pays. Il a \u00e9galement servi de surintendant dans le district d’\u00c9quateur Sierra Norte. Christian a servi d’\u00e9diteur de magazines hispaniques pour l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en et \u00e9tait l’\u00e9diteur associ\u00e9 de livres de texte, y compris le Commentaire biblique Beacon. Il est l’auteur de plusieurs livres et articles en anglais et espagnol.<\/p>\n

Christian a gagn\u00e9 son docteur en \u00e9ducation en leadership et pratique professionnelle en 2019 de l’Universit\u00e9 Trevecca nazar\u00e9enne. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 un docteur en divinit\u00e9 de l’Universit\u00e9 MidAmerica nazar\u00e9enne en 2002.<\/p>\n

Christian et Margit \u00e9taient parmi les membres fondateurs de l’\u00c9glise du Nazar\u00e9en en Colombie en 1975. <\/p>\n

Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 dans huit pays diff\u00e9rents, 30 maisons diff\u00e9rentes et le Seigneur souffle toujours \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Sarmiento. Je veux le louer parce qu’Il est le Seigneur de ma vie. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n
