Aquellos que est\u00e1n \u00aben Cristo\u00bb son nuevas criaturas (2 Corintios 5:17). En esta comunidad redentora, ning\u00fan ser humano debe ser considerado inferior por motivos de estatus social, raza o g\u00e9nero (G\u00e1latas 3:26-28). Reconociendo la aparente paradoja creada por la instrucci\u00f3n de Pablo a Timoteo (1 Timoteo 2:11-12) y a la iglesia de Corinto (1 Corintios 14:33-34), creemos que interpretar estos pasajes como una limitaci\u00f3n del papel de las mujeres en el ministerio presenta graves conflictos con pasajes espec\u00edficos de las Escrituras que elogian la participaci\u00f3n femenina en roles de liderazgo espiritual (Joel 2:28-29; Hechos 2:17-18; 21:8-9; Romanos 16:1, 3, 7; Filipenses 4:2-3), y viola el esp\u00edritu y la pr\u00e1ctica de la tradici\u00f3n wesleyana de santidad. Por \u00faltimo, es incompatible con el car\u00e1cter de Dios presentado a lo largo de las Escrituras, especialmente tal y como se revela en la persona de Jesucristo.
