Ark Noel Jr., residente de Santa Fe, Texas, falleci\u00f3 el 4 de septiembre de 2026. Era un superintendente de distrito jubilado que lider\u00f3 el Distrito Southeast Oklahoma de 1987 a 2004.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ark Jr. naci\u00f3 el 7 de enero de 1934 en Hominy, Oklahoma; hijo de Ark Sr. y Grace Noel. Los primeros recuerdos de Ark fueron de su madre llev\u00e1ndolos a \u00e9l y sus hermanos a la Iglesia del Nazareno Hominy todos los domingos. El pastor Barlow era su mentor cuando, a la edad de 17 a\u00f1os, recibi\u00f3 el llamado del Se\u00f1or a convertirse en predicador.<\/p>\n\n

Despu\u00e9s de graduarse de Hominy High School, fue a Bethany Peniel College (ahora, Southern Nazarene University), donde conoci\u00f3 a Lula Mae Hendrix. Se casaron el 24 de agosto de 1954. Su fin de semana de bodas comenz\u00f3 con ellos saliendo inmediatamente a liderar un avivamiento en Oklahoma.<\/p>\n\n

Ark, junto con su esposa, sirvi\u00f3 como evangelista durante 10 a\u00f1os y como pastor durante 34 a\u00f1os. En Oklahoma, pastore\u00f3 la Iglesia del Nazareno Bennett (1955-1956); la Iglesia del Nazareno Okmulgee First (ahora, Okmulgee New Day) (1957-1959); la Iglesia del Nazareno Dawson (ahora, Tulsa Faith) (1960-1962); la Iglesia del Nazareno Durant (ahora, Durant LifeSong) (1972-1974); la Iglesia del Nazareno Oklahoma City Meridian Park (ahora, Oklahoma City Metroplex Fellowship) (1974-1976) y la Iglesia del Nazareno Henryetta (1985-1987).<\/p>\n\n

En Texas, pastore\u00f3 la Iglesia del Nazareno Tyler First (1962-1965) y la Iglesia del Nazareno Dallas Woodland Park (ahora, The Shepherd’s House) (1966-1972). Tambi\u00e9n pastore\u00f3 la Iglesia del Nazareno Lovington en New Mexico (1965-1966); la Iglesia del Nazareno Saint Marys First en Ohio (1976-1979) y la Iglesia del Nazareno Springfield First (ahora, Springfield One Life) en Missouri (1979-1985).<\/p>\n
