Harry Curry Jr. fue nombrado superintendente del Distrito Kentucky el 3 de agosto de 2026. El nombramiento fue realizado por Carla Sunberg, con el apoyo de la junta consultora del Distrito Kentucky, el director regional de EUA\/Canad\u00e1, Jeffrey Johnson, y la Junta de Superintendentes Generales.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

El nombramiento comenzar\u00e1 a regir a partir del 1 de septiembre de 2026. Curry reemplaza a Brian Powell, que ha ocupado el cargo de superintendente del Distrito Kentucky desde 2015. Powell acept\u00f3 recientemente el llamado a pastorear la Iglesia del Nazareno Cincinnati Springdale.<\/p>\n\n

Curry asisti\u00f3 a Trevecca Nazarene College (ahora, universidad), recibiendo su licenciatura en 1982. Obtuvo su m\u00e1ster en Divinidad por el Nazarene Theological Seminary en 1985.<\/p>\n\n

Ha servido como pastor en la Iglesia del Nazareno Elkton y en la Iglesia del Nazareno Louisville Trinity, ambas en Kentucky. Ha servido como pastor en la Iglesia del Nazareno Louisville First desde 1993.<\/p>\n
