Calvary Callender fue elegido superintendente del Distrito North\/East Texas el 13 de julio de 2026, durante la 118.\u00aa asamblea del distrito. Callender sirve actualmente como pastor de la Iglesia del Nazareno Lantana Community Fellowship en Texas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La nueva asignaci\u00f3n de Callender entrar\u00e1 en vigencia el 13 de agosto de 2026. El suceder\u00e1 al Dr. Keven Wentworth, que ha liderado el Distrito North\/East Texas desde 2016.<\/p>\n\n

Callender tiene una licenciatura en Ciencias y Sociolog\u00eda (1997) de Southern Nazarene University, y un m\u00e1ster en Religi\u00f3n y Fundamentos Espirituales (2009) de Northwest Nazarene University. Adem\u00e1s, tiene un doctorado en Liderazgo Intencional (2024) de Nazarene Theological Seminary.<\/p>\n\n

Callender ha servido como pastor de j\u00f3venes en la Iglesia del Nazareno San Angelo First en Texas, la Iglesia del Nazareno Midland First en Texas, la Iglesia del Nazareno St. Louis Gateway en Missouri y la Iglesia del Nazareno Grand Prairie Family en Texas.<\/p>\n\n

En febrero de 2009, fue llamado a pastorear la Iglesia del Nazareno Big Spring First en Texas, sirviendo all\u00ed hasta enero de 2018. En enero de 2018, fue llamado a pastorear la Iglesia del Nazareno Lantana Community en Bartonville, Texas, donde ha servido desde entonces.<\/p>\n\n

Adem\u00e1s de pastorear en la iglesia local, Callender ha servido en la junta consultora de distrito, la junta distrital de ministerio, el comit\u00e9 de finanzas de distrito, la junta de campamento de distrito y el concilio de DNI de distrito; todo en el Distrito West Texas.<\/p>\n
