El misionero jubilado M. Gwendolyn Streight muri\u00f3 el 26 de junio. Ten\u00eda 90 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Gwendolyn naci\u00f3 en 1929 en Iowa, y acept\u00f3 a Jes\u00fas como Se\u00f1or a la edad de 6 despu\u00e9s de que su familia se mud\u00f3 a Idaho. Cuando Gwendolyn estaba en la escuela secundaria, fue santificada y comenz\u00f3 a sentir una llamada al trabajo de misiones de tiempo completo. <\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de la escuela secundaria, asisti\u00f3 a Northwest Nazarene College (ahora la Universidad)<\/a>, donde recibi\u00f3 una Licenciatura en Artes en Arte en 1952. Tambi\u00e9n conoci\u00f3 a su primer esposo, Dean Galloway, en NNC, y se casaron en 1949. <\/p>\n

Gwendolyn y Dean sirvieron como misioneros durante casi 25 a\u00f1os en Nicaragua y Colombia desde 1953 hasta que Dean muri\u00f3 en 1977.<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de que Dean muri\u00f3, Gwendolyn se cas\u00f3 con Raymond McClung, que muri\u00f3 en 1996. Cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, Gwendolyn se cas\u00f3 con LaVerne Streight, que muri\u00f3 en diciembre.<\/p>\n
