General Superintendent David W. Graves announced the election of W. Kyle Poole as superintendent of the Georgia District.<\/p>\n

Elected 31 May on the first ballot, Poole replaces Roy E. Rogers, who is retiring after serving more than 18 years in the position. Poole will begin his new assignment 1 July. <\/p>\n

Poole is currently the lead pastor at Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene<\/a> in Graniteville, South Carolina, a position he has held since 2010. Prior to this, Poole served in Kansas, Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee, and has been the South Carolina District SDMI chair since 2015.<\/p>\n

Poole received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Trevecca Nazarene College (now Trevecca Nazarene University<\/a>) in 1991 and his Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary<\/a> in 1995.<\/p>\n
