El Superintendente General Em\u00e9rito Stan Toler muri\u00f3 el 18 de noviembre despu\u00e9s de luchar contra el c\u00e1ncer durante el a\u00f1o pasado. Ten\u00eda 67.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan los informes, estaba rodeado<\/a> por su familia amorosa en el momento de su muerte.<\/p>\n

El Dr. Stan Toler era un defensor, alentador, ejemplo y escritor \/ maestro por excelencia, dijo el Superintendente General David Busic a trav\u00e9s de Twitter<\/a>. La familia Toler hab\u00eda publicado recientemente la siguiente actualizaci\u00f3n<\/a> sobre la condici\u00f3n de Stan, anunciando que hab\u00eda sido liberado al cuidado de hospicio en el hogar: <\/p>\n

Durante los \u00faltimos diez meses, mientras que recib\u00eda el mejor est\u00e1ndar de atenci\u00f3n, ha sido bendecido con una resistencia notable y ha podido viajar, hablar, ense\u00f1ar, escribir y, lo m\u00e1s importante, pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos.<\/p>\n

Las oraciones de la gente de Dios han tocado el cielo en nombre de Stan. Stan y la familia alaban a Dios por esta temporada de bendiciones demasiado numerosas para mencionar.<\/p>\n

Ahora, habiendo agotado todo el tratamiento m\u00e9dico posible para el c\u00e1ncer de pancreas, Stan ha sido liberado del hospital y estar\u00e1 bajo el cuidado de hospicio en casa. Est\u00e1 rodeado de su amada familia, y aunque debilitado en el cuerpo, permanece fuerte en su fe, creyendo en James 5:14-15.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Toler fue  el fundador, director ejecutivo del Centro de Recursos para el Liderazgo Pastoral<\/a>  en la Universidad Nazarena del Sur. Fue elegido superintendente general en la Iglesia de la Nazarena en la Asamblea General de 2009 y Convenciones en Orlando, Florida, y sirvi\u00f3 en la posici\u00f3n cuatro a\u00f1os. HeHe,  fue galardonado con el estado de em\u00e9rito en 2013. Toler sirvi\u00f3 anteriormente como pastor durante m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os  en Ohio, Florida, Tennessee y Oklahoma. Toler escribi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 100 libros, que vendi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 3 millones de copias. <\/p>\n

Le sobrevive  su esposa, Linda, una educadora, y dos hijos casados, Seth (Marcy) y Adam (Amanda), as\u00ed como  cinco nietos.<\/p>\n
