Pastor y el ex superintendente de distrito Gregorio Bin murieron el 16 de octubre de 2019. Ten\u00eda 78 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Gregorio naci\u00f3 el 19 de abril de 1941, en Tactic, Guatemala.<\/p>\n

Cuando sinti\u00f3 la llamada de Dios a su vida a convertirse en un pastor, comenz\u00f3 a estudiar en el Centro Educativo Kekch\u00ed en San Juan Chamelco. Gregorio continu\u00f3 estudiando en el Instituto B\u00edblico Nazareno en Coban y luego transfiri\u00f3 al Seminario Nazareno en San Jos\u00e9, Costa Rica, donde se gradu\u00f3 en 1975.<\/p>\n

Se cas\u00f3 con su esposa, Rosa Co, en 1969. Ten\u00edan dos hijas, Deysi y Selma. Fue ordenado como anciano en 1978.<\/p>\n

Gregorio pastore\u00f3 iglesias en Santa Cruz Verapaz, Campur, Tamah\u00fa, San Miguel Tucur\u00fa y Sebahu. La familia regres\u00f3 a San Juan Chamelco, donde Rosa tambi\u00e9n pastore\u00f3 de 1976 a 1981. En 1982, Gregorio fue elegido superintendente del Distrito Nor-Este.  <\/p>\n

Regres\u00f3 a San Juan Chamelco como co-pastor en 2001 y fue el pastor general de 2007 hasta que muri\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Gregorio es recordado con cari\u00f1o como un hombre de compasi\u00f3n por aquellos que fueron perdidos y como un siervo humilde del Se\u00f1or. Era conocido por su compasi\u00f3n en tiempos de desastre, coordinando campa\u00f1as de alimentos m\u00faltiples veces para las comunidades y las v\u00edctimas que necesitan apoyo.<\/p>\n

En mayo, la iglesia de San Juan Chamelco organiz\u00f3 una celebraci\u00f3n en honor de los 50 a\u00f1os de matrimonio y ministerio para la familia Bin.<\/p>\n

A Gregorio le sobrevive su esposa, Rosa, y sus dos hijas.<\/p>\n
