Cada taller de NMI se ofreci\u00f3 una segunda vez a audiencias llenas, luego los delegados lanzaron bolas de playa mientras entraban en la sesi\u00f3n plenaria mientras el cuarteto de Guatemala cantaba m\u00fasica viva previa a la sesi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El presidente Global de NMI recientemente reelegido, Philip Weatherill, present\u00f3 los Premios de Servicio Distinguido a los superintendentes generales jubilados Jerry D. Porter y J. K. Warrick por su apoyo activo de NMI y su liderazgo. Weatherill not\u00f3 que Porter \u00abten\u00eda gafas con borde negro y ten\u00eda el pelo negro\u00bb cuando se reunieron por primera vez en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en 1976. Declar\u00f3 que Warrick ha sido \u00abun buen oyente mientras me agarr\u00e9 con este papel\u00bb. La convenci\u00f3n aplaudi\u00f3 de coraz\u00f3n a los dos destinatarios del premio.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de un anuncio del Consejo Global recientemente elegido y el Consejo Global Ejecutivo de NMI, el Director de la Misi\u00f3n Global, Verne Ward, lider\u00f3 la conferencia en un tiempo especial de oraci\u00f3n para los nuevos l\u00edderes.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la sesi\u00f3n plenaria final, el Director Global de NMI, Lola Brickey, trajo un poderoso desaf\u00edo. Se enfoc\u00f3 en la vida de Ada Bresee, que sirvi\u00f3 como vicepresidente de lo que ahora es el Consejo Global de NMI.<\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00eda f\u00e1cil decir que lo que hizo no fue necesario, pero Susan Fitkin (presidenta de NMI) no podr\u00eda haber logrado lo que hizo sin Ada, dijo Brickey.<\/p>\n<p>De la misma manera, \u00abno podemos hacer lo que hacemos sin usted, continu\u00f3 Brickey. Necesitamos que contin\u00fae involucrado y traiga sus habilidades \u00fanicas dadas por Dios a NMI para avanzar en el reino de Cristo.<\/p>\n<p>La Superintendente General Emerita Nina G.
