Sunberg como superintendentes de co-distrito del Distrito de East Ohio.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Esta es la primera vez que un equipo de esposo y esposa fue nombrado oficialmente superintendentes de co-distrito en la Iglesia de la Nazarena. Por supuesto, muchos c\u00f3nyuges de superintendentes de distrito han jugado y contin\u00faan jugando un papel de apoyo prominente en el ministerio.<\/p>\n<p>El Superintendente General Jerry D. Porter hizo el nombramiento con la aprobaci\u00f3n de la Junta de Superintendentes Generales y en consulta con un comit\u00e9 de distrito. El nombramiento tendr\u00e1 efecto el 1 de noviembre de 2011.<\/p>\n<p>El ex superintendente del distrito, David E. Downs, fue nombrado superintendente de distrito para West Texas en julio.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El pastor de Sunbergs en la Iglesia de Fort Wayne Grace Point de la Nazarena en Indiana; Chuck como pastor principal y Carla como pastor de evangelismo. Comenzaron a servir en la iglesia en 2005. Los Sunbergs anunciaron su renuncia a la congregaci\u00f3n de Grace Point el domingo 25 de septiembre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La pareja ha modelado el ministerio de equipo desde sus d\u00edas como misioneros y directores de campo en Rusia (1992-2005). Ayudaron a generar el crecimiento excepcional de la Iglesia de la Nazarena en la ex Uni\u00f3n Sovi\u00e9tica. Las iglesias, los centros del ministerio compasivos y los centros de educaci\u00f3n del clero est\u00e1n floreciendo en toda la Commonwealth de Estados Independientes como resultado de sus ministerios.<\/p>\n<p>Chuck Sunberg pastore\u00f3 en Texas antes de su ministerio en Rusia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Si bien tanto Chuck como Carla est\u00e1n obsequiados en su propio derecho, juntos han combinado talentos dados por Dios y aptitudes para el ministerio de maneras innovadoras. El resultado es una respuesta singular a la llamada de Dios, identific\u00e1ndolos como siervos-l\u00edderes efectivos. Si bien sus regalos son similares, son \u00fanicos y permiten la perspectiva y el beneficio de l\u00edderes individuales.<\/p>\n<p>Chuck es un graduado de la Universidad Olivet Nazarena y Carla de la Universidad Nazarena MidAmerica. Ambos tienen t\u00edtulos del Seminario Teol\u00f3gico Nazareno.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Los Sunbergs estaban casados en 1983.
