Despu\u00e9s de una extensa b\u00fasqueda, el presidente de la Universidad Nazarena del Sur, Keith Newman, anunci\u00f3 la selecci\u00f3n de Larry Morris para servir como vicepresidente de Relaciones Externas. Larry ha servido como pastor en las iglesias en Oklahoma y Texas, m\u00e1s recientemente como pastor principal de la Iglesia de la Palabra Viviente de la Nazarena.<\/p>\n

Obteniendo su licenciatura en teolog\u00eda de SNU en 1990 y una Maestr\u00eda en Artes en Liderazgo Pastoral en 2017 de la Universidad Olivet Nazarena, Larry sirve al Distrito del Sur de Texas como miembro de la Junta Asesora de Distrito, delegado de la Asamblea General y como representante del clero en la Junta de Fideicomisarios de SNU.  <\/p>\n

En este nuevo papel, dar\u00e1 supervisi\u00f3n a las Relaciones de la Iglesia y Relaciones de Ex Alumni y servir\u00e1 como el representante de la universidad a varias organizaciones c\u00edvicas y gubernamentales. Sus 30 a\u00f1os de liderazgo pastoral en el Campo Sur-Central, junto con su experiencia de larga duraci\u00f3n liderando congregaciones enfocadas en la comunidad en la Iglesia de la Nazarena, lo han preparado bien para esta asignaci\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n

Larry y su esposa, Kristi, tienen dos hijos adultos, Hope y Jason (Clase SNU de 2022). Se une al equipo de SNU a principios de octubre en el tiempo para el Foro de Pastores patrocinado por el Centro de Recursos Toler para el Liderazgo Pastoral programado para el 18 y el 19 de octubre.  <\/p>\n
