| Dr. Mark E. Lail, Director of Stewardship Ministries
Mark was elected by the General Board to direct the Stewardship
Ministries team in 2008. Prior to his election Mark pastored for 22
years in churches in New York and Ohio. He and his wife Ruth are
grandparents of two and parents of five. Mark enjoys life when it
includes old tractors, deer hunting, guitars, and lots of auctions. Mark
loves to help pastors and church treasurers with the financial tasks of
ministry. He created the School of Stewardship to provide practical
training in church finances and biblical stewardship. He is a key
liaison for the denominational funding plan, Funding the Mission, and
serves as a resource to various departments of the Global Ministry
Center on matters related to stewardship. Mark chairs several committees
including the Ten Percent Committee, Designated Giving Committee, Rare
Circumstance Adjustment Committee and Global Ministry Center Chapel
Committee. He is also the secretary of the board of directors for the
Church of the Nazarene Foundation.

| Rev. Tom Felder, Resource/Office Manager
Tom manages the
development of resources for Stewardship Ministries and serves as office
manager. He has worked in Stewardship Ministries since 2004. In
addition to his work in Stewardship Ministries, Tom has served as a
senior pastor, children’s pastor, curriculum editor, and graphic
designer. Tom serves as project manager for pastor’s resources such as
the Stewardship Month Resource Kit, age group resources such as The Case
of Stuart’s Ship, general stewardship resources, and strategic
planning. |

 | Deanna Evans, Publications Manager/Donor Communications Coordinator
Deanna
is our publications manager and started working in Stewardship
Ministries in 2010. She graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University
in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and has a background in
writing, editing, and journalism. Her primary responsibility is to
interface and coordinate efforts in efficiency and common purpose with
Global Treasury Services and Information Technology to coordinate
communications with donors. She is also involved with web development
(monitoring trends and refreshing content) and writes and edits content
for (dot) Stewardship, web pages, and other communication pieces.

 | Tabita Gonzalez, Senior Program Assistant
Tabita is our senior program assistant and started working part-time in Stewardship Ministries in early 2010, helping us translate the Funding the Mission application into Portuguese, Spanish, and Korean. Now she is with us full-time, and her responsibilities include facilitating access to the Funding the Mission application, providing basic instruction of the Funding the Mission plan, and handling the office administration. Tabita is Dr. Lail’s assistant and works closely in coordinating School of Stewardship seminars, Funding the Mission trainings, and committee participation. She brings a practical, detail-oriented perspective to Stewardship Ministries – focusing on establishing a smooth and comprehensible operation.

 | Jamie Connally
Jamie plays an integral role in the committee responsibilities of Stewardship Ministries from her new home in California. She serves as administrative coordinator for the Ten Percent Giving Committee, Designated Giving Committee and the Rare Circumstance Adjustment Committee: assisting with Ten Percent and Point-to-Point giving questions. |
