Global praise reports and prayer requests: March 6, 2015

by | 06 Mar 2015

Recent praise reports and prayer requests from NCN News, Nazarene Missions International, and JESUS Film Harvest Partners include:

PRAISES

JESUS Film - Ecuador

"I wasn't sure God existed," shared a 49-year-old mom of three from Ecuador. "I accepted the invitation to the JESUS film mainly because I respected the person who invited me. Yet while I was there, I felt an impact. God's compassion for people and His humility—despite who He was, the Son of God—really left a mark on my life. I accepted the invitation to make Christ my Savior with pleasure!"

JESUS Film - India
"The pain in my stomach was not going away, and doctors could not do anything about it," said Chotti in India. "When I saw the JESUSfilm, I realized who He was. That night, I was thinking about Him and praying for Him to heal my stomach. The next day, I was healed!"

JESUS Film - Mexico
"My husband was skeptical," shared a woman in Mexico. "Now he allows me to talk with him about the gospel and has opened his heart to Jesus. I am so thankful for the discipleship education we have received. This will allow us to educate and train our children and others in the way of the Lord."

PRAYER REQUESTS

Chinese Ministries Field
Pray for the Hong Kong District as it prepares to establish two new churches — one for local Chinese and one for Indonesian domestic workers. These will be the first new Nazarene churches established in decades in this area.

Stolen backpack studio
Pray for World Mission Broadcast ministries in an area that is resistant to the gospel. Recently, a WMB team's studio backpack was stolen, which will hinder part of their work until the items can be replaced.

HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS

Fullah Family

Prayer is requested for Pastor James Fullah of Sierra Leone and his family. After James' wife, Isatu, became infected with and later died from the Ebola virus, the family was placed under quarantine. Two of the couple's daughters, ages 6 and 16, displayed symptoms of the disease and were transferred to a treatment center.
