	Historic gathering of denominational leaders On January 13 a historic meeting of leaders took place at the central offices of the Foursquare Church. Welcomed by president Glenn Burris, 18 top leaders of denominations committed to a common emphasis on holiness in the 21st century met as part of the Wesleyan Holiness Consortium (WHC). 	Holiness Leaders form Global Wesleyan Alliance Leaders of 11 faith communions met recently in Anderson, Indiana, to form the Global Wesleyan Alliance (GWA), a unique partnership created to amplify the prophetic voice of Wesleyan-Arminian, holiness ministries, and increase their effectiveness in spreading scriptural holiness throughout the world. 	General Superintendents meet with presidents of Nazarene Bible College and Nazarene Theological Seminary On Tuesday, December 6 the Board of General Superintendents met with David A. Busic, president of Nazarene Theological Seminary, and Harold B. Graves Jr., president of Nazarene Bible College. The purpose of the meeting was to give an opportunity for the school presidents to communicate their plans and hopes for these two educational institutions. Read more... 	WEF Overpayment FAQs What is the Church of the Nazarene’s World Evangelism Fund (WEF) “overpayment?” WEF overpayment offerings are given by local Nazarene churches and are above and beyond the 5.5 percent base of current income. Nazarene Missions International (NMI) launched the WEF overpayment concept in 1992 after receiving approval from the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene. Read more... 	Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center bonds paid in full With finalization of the sale of the USA Church of the Nazarene Loan Fund to the Wesleyan Investment Foundation (www.wifonline.com), Marilyn McCool, general treasurer of the Church of the Nazarene, announced Friday that proceeds from the nearly US$27 million transaction have been used to pay the US$25 million debt on the church's Global Ministry Center (GMC) in Lenexa, Kansas, USA.
