Dr. James H. Diehl, jurisdictional general superintendent for the South America Region, recently urged Nazarene leaders from Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay to seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit above all else.
Dr. Diehl had traveled around the Southern Cone conducting several district assemblies, ordaining new elders, and addressing the graduating class of the Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone. His trip culminated in the Southern Cone Holiness Campaign in Pilar, Argentina.
Workshops were presented during the campaign focusing on the ministries of Nazarene Missions International, Sunday School Ministries, Nazarene Youth International, and Evangelism Ministries. Dr. Diehl highlighted holiness as the paramount message of the conference in three sermons.
Overflowing crowds gathered each evening at the Altos de Pilar Church of the Nazarene. On the second night, additional seating and a projection screen were installed outside of the church to accommodate the crowd. Hundreds of people lined the altars seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
