Fall 2009 Sunday School Emphasis: Make the Connection with Others.The Great Commission reminds us that we are to “Go and make Disciples
of all nations, baptizing them…and teach (them) to obey…” (Matthew
28:19). Over the next two years we will be emphasizing the importance
of that great commission from Jesus.
Spring 2009 Sunday School Emphasis: Make the Connection with Mission.The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is “to make Christlike
disciples in the nations.” This six-week emphasis will encourage your
Sunday School to make the connection with that mission, with special
importance given to discipleship.
Fall 2008 Sunday School EmphasisThe fall Sunday School emphasis will coincide with the Church of the Nazarene's
Centennial Celebration.
Connecting the Family of God with The WordDuring
this emphasis, the Word of God will be highlighted as the heritage, the
story, the worldview, the moral compass, and the foundation of the
people (family) of God.
Make the Connection with Others: Fall 2007 Sunday School EmphasisThe goal of the “Make the Connection With Others” Sunday School
emphasis is to encourage Sunday School members to solidify
relationships with people within the church and build new relationships
with those outside the walls of the church.
Make the Connection with God's Word Spring 2007 Sunday School Emphasis
The purpose of the “Make the Connection with God’s Word” Sunday School
emphasis is to highlight the Sunday School’s role in connecting people
with God’s Word.
