The purpose of the “Make the Connection with God’s Word” Sunday School emphasis is to highlight the Sunday School’s role in connecting people with God’s Word. During the six weeks of this emphasis and the following 40 Day Listening Adventure, it is our prayer that:
1. People of all ages and backgrounds will gain an increased knowledge of God’s Word.
2. People will be motivated with a personal desire to read and apply God’s Word to their lives.
3. The Sunday School will be shown to be a primary place where God’s Word is studied and discussed.
4. People will be encouraged to become active in attendance and involvement in Sunday School.
5. The role of the Bible as a guide for living will be emphasized.
