Three levels of awards are available to give proper recognition to local churches with growth in both responsibility list (enrollment) and attendance.

Sunday Schools that are focused on reaching people and teaching them God's Word are most likely the ones that are also showing growth each year. In order to give proper recognition to local churches with growth in both responsibility list (enrollment) and attendance, three levels of awards are available.
One 9" x 12" plaque will be used for all growth awards. Once the level of growth is determined, the appropriate award plate and year bar packet should be ordered from Nazarene Publishing House and attached to the plaque each year. Honor School (5%-24% increase)
In order for a Sunday School to receive the Honor Award, there must be an increase of 5% to 24% over the figures reported to the last district assembly in both responsibility list and Sunday School average attendance.

Superior School (25%-49% increase)
In order for a Sunday School to receive the Superior Award, there must be an increase of 25% to 49% over the figures reported to the last district assembly in both responsibility list and Sunday School average attendance.

Exceptional School (50% or greater increase)
In order for a Sunday School to receive the Exceptional Award, there must be an increase of 50% or more over the figures reported to the last district assembly in both responsibility list and Sunday School average attendance.

NOTE: A local church directly responsible for starting a new church should receive the Honor School award in the assembly year in which the church is begun. The newly organized church should receive the Honor School award in the year it is organized.
